Shop
Guest post of the week by Moises Henderson
While we were on our family road trip this past summer, we rode through Rogers, Arkansas. I had lived there for several years as a kid and I told my husband we had to stop at the little ice cream parlor down town. I remember going to this shop with my grandma when she picked me up from school. I had so many memories from the whole town. Driving through there was like going in a time machine. I got to show my family my childhood home and where I went to school. It brought back so many memories, but it had also changed so much! There were more stores than just the Walmart that was there when I was growing up. There were more traffic lights and the ice cream parlor even had credit card machines now! We had so much fun driving through my hometown. Road trips are hard with young kids, but to get to take them for ice cream at that shop made it worth it! This may have to become a summer tradition!
