People naturally like to personalize their environments. From the earliest times, people made decorations to spruce up their living spaces. You can easily imagine even the early cave dwellers painting on the walls to give their cave that “homey” look.
Modern people are no different, of course. Although today so much of our living and working space involves sitting at a computer. So, naturally enough, we seek to make the experience a bit more “our own” by creating personal space through decoration.
Your computer screen is ripe for personalization. Many people put up pictures of their family and children. However, you might enjoy natural views and animals as a way to escape for a bit from your office space.
There are many websites that offer nature wallpaper for your computer, and there are some amazing pictures out there. One of the things I noticed as I looked around for great nature desktop wallpaper is the wide variety in the quality of websites. Some sites look like they are just an excuse to get you to visit so they can bombard you with annoying pop-ups and flashing ads. That is really annoying to me on any website.
So, I thought I would rate sites that offer images for your computer. I created a simple rating of 1-5, with the higher rated sites being recommended, with quality images and good navigation to help you find what you are looking. Admittedly, the rating is purely subjective based upon my impressions, but at least you can avoid the sites that are very spamy.
