Special effects are so good that most movies are being made in 3D. this puts a lot of focus on the type of movies that are pleasing to the eye with graphics and CGI electronics. What makes these type movies so popular is the stunning visual effect it has on children. The same can be said for adults if truth be told. Magic movies movies like the Chronicles of Narnia portray a great visual experience for kids and thus invites parents to bring them for very selfish reasons of their own.

The most recognizable and highest grossing movie ever produced, Avatar has all the magic you could ever want in a feature film. The camera work, special effects and tricks the computer can do on the big screen is really a work of art. James Cameron created a masterpiece that will probably never be duplicated, well at least not for a while. Magicmovies have always intrigued us since the days of Peter Pan. But it was not until Harry Potter that magic really took off in movies.

The Harry Potter series has been the highest grossing of all movies franchises and it is not finished yet. The magical nuances in these movies are uncanny. A child can sit and watch this for hours upon hours and not be tired of it. Parents are finding themselves doing the same thing, age is not different. This is because the child in us never dies and when something this highly thought out and vividly detailed on the silver screen comes along we have to visually go see it for ourselves. The truth is we may never tire of magical films as long as the special effects keep getting better. Before long we will be able to put our hand in the movie and feel like we are flying like Harry Potter does.
